Some days, I seem to find a million and one inspirational projects and ideas while perusing blogs. Mostly I come across these when looking through link parties, but sometimes I find them while searching for something in particular. It doesn't matter. I just know that blogs inspire me now more than any TV program or magazine possibly could. They are A-MA-ZING! I sure do feel sorry for my friends who haven't discovered this resource and continue to be baffled when I urge them to explore. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink!
Here are a few goodies I came across
during my latest exploration:
Check out this faux fireplace at Vintage Revivals. It's made from cabinet doors. I don't have a real fireplace. That's a decision I've sort of regretted. Hmmm....
And how about this fun vintage toolbox from Mamie Jane's, all decorated for Christmas?
She created it to store a few pieces from her collection of ironstone.
Also on Mamie Jane's, I saw this fun footstool that she recovered.
StoneGable has some amazing ideas on her blog. Her Herbed Scrambled Eggs looks good - what a creative way to make a simple eggs and toast breakfast look elegant.
Confessions of a Curbshopaholic showcased a wonderful laundry bin and liner.
That site led me to Much To Do With Nothing, where I learned about these wonderful New Tools to Make Perfect Pleats.
They sure work as evidenced by her many fabulous pleated projects!
Time to stop. I need to go do something productive.
Be sure to check out the latest RE- Party!
We RE-do, RE-decorate, RE-organize, RE-pair, RE-upholster, RE-furbish, RE-finish, RE-purpose, and of course, we love to RE-lax!
This party celebrates the RE-'s in our lives!
